Renault Sport has launched a virtual reality game with agency 'We Are Social Paris' which allows participants to become part of a Formula 1 pitstop crew using VR technology.
The Pitstop Challenge is a multi-player game that transports participants to the heart of an F1 race, allowing them to experience the pressure and excitement of a pitstop technician. Using avatars, the players must work together to change the wheels of a Renault F1 car.
MocapLab’s services were required to motion capture the pitstop mechanics to give them the energy and accuracy required under pressure during an F1 race.
Playable with up to 4 in a team with HTC Vives and MSI VR One backpacks.
