Extreme Motion Capture
The constant evolution of the precision and the robustness of the techniques available, allows us to constantly face new challenges and new projects that previously were inaccessible.
Motion Capture in the past needed a heavy infrastructure, whereas today we can adapt according to different shoots for outdoor projects, for films that are often cumbersome and for more complicated projects (animals, races etc ).
For example : During the shoot for the film “Ne te retourne pas” by Marina de Van, in order to measure the movements and expressions of Monica Bellucci, small markers were placed on her face to create a 3D animated face of the actrice with the same expressions and movements.
Another example : measuring “Perrine” sprinting for 51 meters with just 5 HD cameras.
